Development area: senses

As a result of his sensory perception, man has an idea of the world, discovers connections and gains knowledge. So that meaning is formed and coping processes are trained in the brain, they need stimulation and exercise. While a child's world is intense and concentrated, perceived by all the senses, learning processes are carried out self-directed, that is, he learns out of the activity without realizing it and that learning content is deliberately taught.Sensory education includes the development reflexive perception and sensibility in all areas of life, and forms the source of knowledge and insight. This is always accomplished in a conflict with tangible contents and / or linguistic interactive processes and cannot be viewed in isolation from it.

Perception is a holistic and active learning process. By moving, a child deals with and discovers his environment with his senses, and exploits the characteristics and regularities of its environment (such as weight, gravity, hardness, smell, taste). These basic sensory experiences can in further education be sorted under scientific aspects. Under the influence of cultural concepts they are mathematics, physics, chemistry or assigned to biology. The remote senses (seeing, hearing) interpret this as the experienced stimuli reality outside the body. The perception about the tactile and physical senses (taste, touch, smell) register the stimuli as acting upon one's own body. Through the emotional perception is a feeling in dealing with a particular object. All these ways of perception work together and design a complex picture of human reality.
